Online Soccer and Volleyball Registration is In Progress.

 

Ascension Sports Uniform Return

Quite a few Ascension basketball, volleyball, and soccer uniforms have been put on the Missing-In-Action list.  We are asking everyone to search their closets, drawers, attics, garages, and even under their beds for the missing uniforms.  A collection bin will be located in the Ascension School lobby for their safe return.  We ask that you attach the coach's name so that the prodigal clothing may be re-united with its owner.

asc200x200.gif The Ascension Athletic Association (AAA) is an organization within the Ascension Catholic Church in Chesterfield, MO.  Youth sports programs have been developed for the enjoyment and enrichment of the children of the community.   Please remember -- The athletic development of our children will be left behind on the field or on the court;  The faith development of our children will be with them for many years to come.  We are dedicated to providing a safe, family-oriented environment for our children to learn and to enjoy organized sporting activities.  The goal of the various programs is not only to teach our children how to play a given sport, but also how to be a good sport in both victory and defeat. Games and practice times are intentionally scheduled so as to NOT conflict with Parish School of Religion (PSR) classes or Mass attendance. However, occasionally scheduling conflicts do occur. As parents and coaches it is up to you to establish priorities for your children.

Ascension Athletic Association meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM in the Multipurpose Room.  Please check the bulletin for meeting announcements.  No meetings are held in June, July and August.

Heavenly Father,
We ask your guidance in this competition.
May we always remember that our opponent is never an enemy.
The victory is in HOW we play and not in winning.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.  AMEN.
